Swapping Fn and Ctrl keys

If you have a Lenovo ThinkPad, but you're used to having the left Ctrl key in the bottom left corner of the keyboard (e.g. like an HP EliteBook), you can swap the Fn button and the Ctrl button using a program called Lenovo Vantage.

  • Step 1. Hit the Start button, and search for Lenovo Vantage
    • Note: you may have to install it from the Microsoft Store if it's not currently installed on your PC.

  • Step 2. Click on Device > My Device Settings

  • Step 3. Click on the Input & Accessories tab

  • Step 4. Scroll down and click on Advanced Settings

  • Step 5. Click on the Reversing the default primary function toggle. Then click Reboot.
